Hi there! Welcome to my world. A number years ago, I bought two domain names: http://www.carlydacosta.com and http://www.momwhocanhackit.com with the thought of “someday” putting them to use. At the time, I didn’t know what in the heck I could possibly put online that would be interesting to others, but over the years I’ve had people around me answer that question! This blog / website is a collection of those family and business topics: real estate investment, entrepreneurship, Au Pairs, home-birthing, finance, travel, education.

My husband Jered and I have been married since 2004, two days after we graduated from West Point. Since then, we’ve been fortunate to learn, explore, and meet so many wonderful people along our journey. While I certainly do not assert that we know all the things, it appears that there are enough things along our journey as a family that would be interesting to others.
